Upcoming Events.....So, what is going on this week? Upcoming Events: Thursdays Milonga. It starts right after the 8 to 9:30 tango class. Look for the "Open" sign in the window! Bring food, beverage or drop a donation in the kitty. Tango to the Blues & Blues Dancing Saturday, Feb 27:
7:00 PM Tango to the Blues (and other alternative music). Blues music has many similarities to tango. You need to have some experience with Argentine Tango for this class. 8:00PM Blues Dancing is a fairly new dance that allows us to interpret slow blues music with dance. It is deceptive - not as easy as it looks! Kind of like tango.... $10 per class Then we will go dancing at Loring Kitchen & Bar, 1359 Willow St. S., Minneapolis.No cover West Coast Swing and Salsa Series starting Wednesday March 3rd: 7:00 West Coast Swing: 8:00 Salsa!, 5 weeks. $50 in advance for 5 classes, $12 per class. Preregistration is encouraged - class sizes are small so that you get a lot of individual attention! Third Saturday of the month is the monthly Black Dog Milonga. Every third Saturday of the month. 7:30 lesson, dance 8:00 to 11:00PM. Lots of fun! Great food, wine and dancing, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Black Dog Cafe, Broadway and Prince street, 308 Prince St. by the Farmers Market, St. Paul, MN. Cover $5.
